Every week, countless wonderful dogs face tragic ends in local shelters or perish on the streets. Many people are unaware of the incredible variety of dogs available for adoption in their own neighborhood shelters—every size, age, breed, and temperament is out there, just waiting for a loving home.
At Cody’s Friends Rescue, we work tirelessly to save as many of these dogs as possible. But it’s a never-ending challenge, made harder by irresponsible breeding practices, puppy mills, and uneducated owners who contribute to the overpopulation crisis by selling unhealthy animals.

MISSION
At Cody's Friends Rescue, we are a dedicated group of volunteers united by a single mission: saving dogs. Together with our incredible supporters, we take on the challenging task of rescuing Dallas area dogs who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, injured, or are sick.
Our passion is giving these dogs a second chance at life, one dog at a time.
