Featured pet

Chester
Chester came in as a neglected, sad boy to a high kill shelter. When we saw his picture, he was on Code Red Euthanasia list. He weighs a tad over 30 lbs and is 6 to 7 years old. He was a shelter favorite and they said he was a "sweetheart that just loves affection/attention." He is great with other dogs, cats and adores everyone and everything but is cautious when strangers come to the door! He walks well on a leash, bonds quickly, and is very protective of his people. He needs to acclimate with strange dogs when outside the home. He does well when meeting children and he is protective of his family and will bark at strangers but responds to redirection. He's looking for a forever home.
